Once you have Debian on the device, the options would be pretty much limitless.If you already have an active Creative Cloud plan, like Creative Cloud Photography (20GB), and you redeem the exact same plan with the same Adobe ID, your billing will be paused for 12 months if you have a plan that’s billed monthly.
I haven't tried yet, but came across your post while I'm trying to figure it out. There are instructions on how to install Debian Linux on these devices, if you're up for it. Still can't access using web browser, but at least this is a way to get access if you've got to change the IP. I tested on my own, and you have to be patient it takes a long time to connect (but less than the default "abort" time). Note: Windows 10 disables access to SMB1 shares by default, so you may need to find a way around that to access any files currently on the device that you'd like to see again. You should then be using the new IP you assigned, if all went right. Reboot the device after your change with: shutdown -r 1.
Then, edit the line that has your current IP. Sudo -s cd /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts The IP address is pretty straightforward in there. You need to change /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 (using sudo access).
I don't know if you have SSH access to the device, but you can change the IP address by connecting over SSH (see also ).
